06-03-01 NEW MATERIAL
After a busy year touring and promoting the record “Every Heart is a Time Bomb” in Scandinavia and Northern Europe , The Launderettes are finally back in the rehearsingroom to work on new material. Hopefully you can hear the first result of this in the end of the year.
05-09-15 EUROPEAN DATES
The Launderettes is ready to hit the road again. This time the band will visit Germany and Sweden were their album “Every heart is a time bomb” just have been released. Eight dates are listed so far, the first gig will be at Gestüt Renz in Wiesbaden , Germany on Friday 23rd September. Check out the gig section for a complete list of dates.
05-09-05 JOKKE TRIBUTE
The Launderettes have recorded a version of the song “Et Godt Parti” by the Norwegian group Jokke & Valentinerne. The song will appear on a tribute album in the memory of the band lead singer Joachim Nielsen, who tragically passed away five years a go. The Launderettes will also appear on the tribute concert which will take place at Rockefeller in Oslo
, 8th September.

05-02-02 EVERY HEART IS A TIME BOMB
We know you have been waiting patiently for our second albumrelease, it’s
been three years since “Shaken & Disturbed”,
but now finally we are ready to present our next record. It’s
called “Every Heart is a Time Bomb” and it will
be out in the stores 7th March in Norway. We have just finished
the mixingprocess and it sounds really great! Enjoy!
04-12-01 THE GRANDSPORT SESSIONS
After a busy year touring abroad with other favourite garage
friends, The Launderettes are finally ready to record their
next album. Together with Cato "Spector" Thomassen
(producer) and Christian Engfelt (technician) from the groovey
combo Cato Salsa Experience, the band's gonna create some
instant music magic in Grandsport Studio during the next three
weeks. The record is planned to be released February 21, 2005,
and will contain ten brand new songs.
